"Excellent HDTV value"on by brupub
Pros Price, picture, many ports including headphone out! 1080p
Cons Vizio's sound has never been stellar although this TV is a little better than my last one. Biggest con is Time Warner's lack of 1080p!
Summary Well worth the price - check it out at Costco, you also get a 2year warranty!
Pros It's Full HD (1080p). It auto-sleeps when there no one using it. It has four HDMI ports and also a VGA and audio out port.
Cons It's only 60Hz. The TV can be abit louder.
Summary Overall it's a alright HDTV. I paid $500 at dell.ca and it was on sale. I really love my TV and it was worth buying.
Pros Outstanding features and values from a company making these in the US!
Cons The speakers could be better, but I bought a combination kit including the sound bar. I'd have never purchased a sound bar, since I thought the small size prevents good bass. A sound bar should be mandatory, since they are awesome! Incredible bass!
Summary The inclusion of a sound bar is highly recommended, but the TV by itself is awesome. The HighDef is just incredible compared to standard Def. The picture is awesome and so are the connections. It has 3 HDMI inputs, along with analog and PC inputs. While it lacks 120 HZ and an Ethernet connection, most people won't miss those features. I plug my HighDef DVR in one HDMI input, a Blu-ray in another HDMI. I have a combo DVD/VCR player I plug into an analog input and if I get a long PC Video cable (along with wireless keyboard and mouse!), I can plug my PC or laptop into the PC input and have Facebook on the TV as well. I just saw a Wal-Mart circular advertising a Vizio just like mine for only $548 with a $100 Wal-Mart gift card. Less than $450, how can you go wrong? Of course, add the sound bar, which now has an included subwoofer and you are set!
