Pros: Excellent black levels! Color appears uniform and realistic. LED edge-lit adds longevity to TV as well as slim profile and weight loss. Qwerty keyboard. WIFI built-in, lot's of App choices, and 3D capable! Overscan adjustment capability.

Cons: Slightly laggy smart dimming. No swivel base. No coaxial digital output only Toslink optical and 1/8" headphone style output (needed coaxial for my setup). No S-video input(useless for most people today but still a "con" for me.

Summary: Using on-screen menu will program remote to control other devices based on input. Comes with 4 "cheapy" glasses but do their job just fine and fit over my prescription glasses. TV won't do 2D to 3D conversion but that keeps the price down and if needed you can buy blu-ray players that can do the 2D\3D conversion. 3D is good but if you want great 3D you will have to go "active 3D" which gets costly. This TV is currently sold at Costco which is where I got mine for $1249+tax, I also saw it at Sam's club but COSTCO adds 2nd year warranty for free. There is no "Z" control to change depth of 3D like LG TV's can do but thats an $800 upgrade I didn't want to spend for. 3D TV was "ok" but I've heard the same comment from my friend with an "active 3D" Samsung which cost a lot more. VIZIO symbol is behind metal mesh on front of unit and dims to half-light when TV is in standby mode but can be turned completely off in both modes through menu option. Adjusts automatically to 3D for 3D blu-rays and PS3 games but TV will have to be selected to engage(easy to see SBS or TB just by seeing of you have 2 pictures side-by-side or top and bottom on the screen then make the selection from the 3D menu on TV. This TV is simply awesome due to the amazing picture, Internet apps capability, passive 3D experience, LED EDGE-lit, Qwerty keyboard, WIFI built-in, and even has a 5-band EQ for sound if needed all for under $1500! TV updated firmware automatically overnight as well! Excellent TV!

Considering getting this TV over a MUCH more expensive Sony. All the pro reviews look awesome and I'm very happy with my 22" Vizio Razor edge lit LED. How does it peform with games? Does it have similar customizations options in the menu as "Sony" for color, motionflow, game mode, etc? What do you mean by slightly laggy dimming? Any other info you can think of will help me make my decision.

    Thank you!
