I was hesitant to buy this as I typically avoid budget/value electronics, but I am impressed so far. I needed another TV in the bedroom and the price for the 47" was great, $689 at Costco. We are using the built-in speakers for sound, and the sound is much better than I expected and better than some reviews on other Vizio models. Some other LED TV's have speakers that are downward or backward facing, which doesn't matter if you have an amp, but without an amp I'm glad they are on the front, even if it adds an inch or two to the bezel width on the bottom. Other reviewers complain about volume levels going up and down. That is true, IF you are using the SRS TrueVolume normalizer. Turn that off, it's junk. The SRS Surround feature is also junk, makes ambient noises; footsteps, wind, etc. way too loud. Picture quality is great with some adjustments. A little brighter on the left and right edges than in the middle, noticeable on black screens and black bars, but not in the main picture. The built-in apps are very nice, but I think the processor is under-powered. Occasionally the menus freeze, buttons are not responsive, sometimes it takes 15 seconds to respond. Doesn't impact video play, just using the various menus and apps. The screen is glossy, I would prefer a matte screen, but those are hard to come by these days. The depth of this Vizio Razor TV is great, except the power cord extends out to far, even with the L-shaped IEC connector. By too far, I mean an extra half inch, which isn't much, except that it is at the very bottom of the TV, and because I mounted and angled the TV downward, it actually prevents me from angling it a little bit further. I know this is minor, but they did such a great job with all the other connectors, they should have done a better job with the power cord.
