"Best bang for the buck" on by trey8341
Pros: Excellent picture, easy setup and great pricing
Cons: Remote control is a little light
Summary: I did alot of comparisons before i bought this tv. In store and online reviews, and i can truly say i'm very happy with my decision. Of all the tvs i saw at best buy this one had the best looking picture in my opinion with the exception of maybe the sharp aquos tvs. Needless to say there is a big difference in the price of the two. Only hold back i was having was the reviews concerning warranty service through vizio. So to ease my mind i bought the tv from Sams Club. Not only did i save a couple extra bucks on this tv by buying it there i also got the 3 year store warranty from them where if anything happens they repair it or give me a new tv, and i only payed about $80 bucks for it. I haven't had any issues with the tv since i'v bought it. I've been watching tv on it and playing my ps3 on and the picture is really superb.

"It broke after 10 months of"light use"" on by Lmjonsey
Pros: Good design good picture for the price when it worked
Cons: My TV DIED Dec 23rd and we still have not had it repaired or replace by Vizio although my husband has made over 25 phone calls to them and they sent a repairman out with the wrong parts who never returned with the correct ones.
Summary: VIzio'a customer service is HORRID!!
They finally were sending a replacement for our broken TV but instead of delivering to our home they shipped it from LA to San Diego bypassing our home on the way. Now we have to wait several more days for a new TV, It has been almost a month since we first reported the problem to VIzio!!!!!

"More for less" on by jmarroking
Pros: I own several LCDs which include Sony and Samsung models. This LCD performs on par with my Sony Bravia which cost much more. You will not lack for inputs, picture and even the sound is on apr or better with other TV's in my home.
Cons: I did have 1 issue after purchasing this TV in March of this year all the HDMI inputs stopped recognizing anything that was connected. This occurred in late September 09 and Vizio had a tech out to my home within a week to repair it.
Summary: I have purchased 3 Vizio's over the last 3 years and had just had a problem with 1 of them and Vizio made sure that the unit was repaired in a reasonable amount of time. May have thought different if I did not have several other TV's but I'm satisfied with the customer service. I purchased this unit through Dell for a little less that $800 and overall I cannot be happier with this TV. I mainly use it for PS3 gaming but on Sundays it displays magnificent picture while watching NFL Sunday ticket along with the other TV's in the house and the picture is on par with the Sony and Samsung TV's. Vizio has made me be a believer over the last couple of years in their brand.
I used to purchase mainly Sony's and Mitsubishi for by bigger screens but now I would feel as confident in buying a Vizio as would in any of the more established or more well known brands. Keep in mind there are better televisions but the cost is often considerably more, Vizio gives a majority of us the best balance of quality, features and PRICE.
Keep some extra cash in your pocket, get a great TV and buy a Vizio, you will not be disappointed. -
"Best tv - equal or better than all I looked at less $" on by tedtks
Pros: Lots of inputs - great picture quality on standard stations and excellent on HD
Cons: cant think of any except the location of some of the controls in the setup screen. to switch some on and off takes a bit of clicking thru menus when logically they should be within one click for faster switching.
Summary: Had this about 6 months - had the 32 version before that and this came up at a great price at
$350 so double happy.
Fabulous for a tv I had never heard of before this year. -
"Best value of any electronics I've purchased in years!" on by JCGoldberg
Pros: Incredible picture
Endless Inputs
Insanely low price
Bullet proof screenCons: Sound is average
Summary: I've owned a Samsung 40" for the last 5 years and it was good. But I bought this Vizio at Costco a few months ago and it is Incredible. The picture is crystal clear. The 120hz takes some getting used to as it is so much faster than older televisions.
I'm writing this review because Vizio deserves it. My 1 year old has been banging on the screen for 2 months and I don't have a single busted pixel (only handprints). I'm really impressed with the quality of a tv that I only paid $650 for. Also there are a ton of inputs so you can plug everything in using HDMI. The interface and remote are the simplest I've seen. Only complaint is the sound is pretty flat but I think it's that's average for flat panel tvs. I purchased the soundbar with subwoofer a month later and it fills the room with a deep surround soundish volume that really makes up the difference. Of course that was another $300.....
