"Great TV with a great picture."
Pros: Picture and sound are really great. I use DISH satellite. I purchased mine through Dakota on eBay for $570. Received it Christmas Eve afternoon. Had it un-boxed, set up, and operating in less than 1 hour. Everyone really liked watching it next day.
Cons: Had to use closed caption with one viewer. Inconvenient to get to CC to turn it on and off. CC is always on screen when CC is turned on; whether sound is on or off.
Summary: Did a lot of research prior to purchasing this unit. Purchased from Dakota for $570. It was a refurbished moded but still had all of the clear film protector on the whole set. Could not tell where anything had ever been connected. I figure the unit is one where the box was opened but the contents never removed from box. Purchased 5 year extended warranty for less than $2.50 per month. The picture with DISH has been clear. The sound is clear. Really glad we purchased it; The only complaint is the amount of keying that has to be done to set and reset the Closed Caption. Perhaps I will find a shorter way as I learn more about the set. Will return and post more if I have trouble with the set. If you do not see anythign else from me you can assume the set is still great.
