  • "This is a decent TV, but there are better ones."

Pros: You get a lot of tv for the price, compared to others of similar size. It was very easy to setup and the picture quality was pretty decent.

Cons: This model has been replaced with the sv422xvt, which provide internet access wirelessly to run apps like Netflix. It its only about $850 in Sams Club or Frys. I don't think it provide a nice enough visual contrast and that affects the picture.

Summary: When I purchased this tv at the time, it was based on price and decent interviews. Nothing was physically wrong with the tv, but I alway sensed that the picture quality could be better. Mainly in the area of light and dark colors next to each other. It appeared that the intensity of each color was compromised by the adjoining color. Contrast! When I realized that my Samsung monitor/hdtv provided a much better image with the same signal source, I took the Vizio back and bought a Samsung ln40c630 for less money.
