Cons: Delayed Release Date.
Summary: I just spoke with Vizio today 11/13/09 and they said the release date got pushed back to the 1st or 2nd week in January.
I'm really disappointed. I was looking to make this a fantastic Christmas Gift...looks like plan B is in order.

Just spoke to Vizio 1/27/10 and release date to the general public has been pushed back to March 2010.

Just heard from VIZIO today (12/30/09) that the TV will be available in stores the first week of February 2010.

If we did not want to wait for the 552 (with VIA) to be released in Jan. 2010, could we get the same functionality (i.e., Netflix streaming, etc.) by purchasing the 551 (without VIA) and then a Wi-Fi enabled Blu-Ray player?

I guess we could always return it when the new TV comes out?
