Vizio VL320M

Summary: I really like this HD TV. At first I was a bit skeptical about buying a Vizio, but given my budget and needs, this one fit perfectly. My previous HD LCD TV was a 32" Westinghouse 720p that died after 3 years. After seeing the 360 on a 1080p, I knew that would be a factor. Some say you can barely tell the difference between 720p and 1080p at 32", but I sure can. It's just noticeably sharper on the HD channels, and much crisper with the 360.

The size is perfect for a "normal" size bedroom. If you jump to a 37" or 42", be ready to shell out a couple hundred more. Those sizes would be more suitable for a mid-sized family room. A good 32" 1080p for less than $450 is hard to come by.

Setup was insanely easy. Unboxed it, checked for blemishes, then connected the FiOS HD box with an hdmi cable. I was flipping through channels within about 10 minutes of getting it home. Hooked up my 360 via HD component cables, set the 360 to 1080p res, and was astounded at the picture quality. Additional hookups include 3 total hdmi inputs, 2 hd component inputs, 1 pc vga input, 2 standard def inputs, and 1 S video input. More than enough.

All in all, I would recommend the Vizio VL320M 32" LCD HD TV w/ 1080p to anyone looking to upgrade an aging 32" LCD HD TV with a decent, mid range offering from Vizio. Especially if you game, the 360 and PS3 look amazing on it. And having to put money out for games every month, this TV fit the budget perfectly. It's no Sony or LG, but for a bedroom piece for the price, you couldn't ask for much more.
