"Vizio 60" Plazma Vizio VM60PHDTV comparing 50" to 60""
Pros: Great price, unproved picture, size, over all look, remote lights up, did I say SIZE and yes girls it does matter?. Great sound, amazing sound for TV speakers.
Cons: not easy to get home, for the price cant reaaly say anything bad at this time still new but will follow up soon
Summary: Let me start by saying thank you to all the people who leaves reviews, when I bought my 1st vizio 50? had know idea about vizio and the reviews left here was very helpful. OKAY let me tell you what I think!
I bought a Vizio 50? from Costco and mainly from them because of the great warranty service. By the way there policy has changed this week ?read on?. For the price, Love the 50? overall great picture. I compared them to mainly the Panasonic because what I read it was the best. I did not see it. On the Panasonic the faces of people look like they were watercolor paintings compared to vizio more natural, this is me and my Wife?s opinion. We planed to show a 2 hr video we edit to a trip from Africa this is one reason we were upgrade the TV are 35? tube was craping out on us. Instead of trying to compare the in house video feed we brought are DVD player in to watch are video on both TV Pan and vizio this DVD player boosted the signal to 720i. Could not believe how bad the Panasonic was compared to Vizio. So only did we think the picture was better in the in-house video but much better with DVD player? Now after reading and see we decided on Vizeo 50? and was very happy with it watching HD TV it looks great and for you people who get so picky about it get a life? if you want to pay $500- 3000 more depending on size for the picky stuff go ahead. I thinks it is a waste of money the technology is all going to be different in 5-10 years and we will be buying new stuff anyway?.. Now I have had the 50? for 1 year 4 weeks?. problem I had was watching TV 5 days ago and the Vizio just died like someone turned it off and the amber light went from green to amber back and forth. SO it stop working called vizio said it sounded like the power supply sorry it was 4 weeks out of its 1 year warranty.
No worry called Costco and they said there police changed this week they now have a 2 year repair plan for all TV sold now but since we bought this before police change bring it back for a full refund!!! got to love them so they credit me 2499. With tax and then I had to decide what to get. Well my 1st concern, Does Visio have problems so I hunted the net except for a few problems no complaints out there. Called talked to some friends at Costco and not a lot of these have been returned broken very few my friend told me more from people taken advantage of the return police so they can upgrade or get some money back that?s why they changed there policy. THANKS losers for screwing up for us honest people out here. OKAY I feel better getting that off my mind. So I started to compare vizio and Panasonic again same conclusions so I took the refund added $300 to it bought the VIZIO 60? and this is what I think. Great Plasma TV. Picher is just as good in HD even through its bigger. I think they improved the ghosting that I used to get on the 50? I have been only watching for a few days and I have been looking so far no ghosting. The black is good as good as the 50? I think even through the contras ratio is 7000; I hear this means nothing anyway. Color is very good mainly watched in Movie mode. The look is a huge improvement love the color edge dose a nice transion to the wall instead of black to usually light color wall and to get rid of the speakers on the bottom never liked them on the 50?. I use very high end external sound system, but I was blown away from the built in speakers that are on it I think the best I have heard from a TV. I do have this mounted on the wall with a 5 degree pitch perfect for it and I sit 11?-12? feet away just right if you are 10? or closer this will be to big for your room. So am I glad and would suggest going from 50? to 60? YES for the price Fantastic. I will follow up later after some more viewing. Don?t get suckered in to being so picky or it dose not put out 1080p for one thing no broadcast is in true 1080p yet but that is coming. When I look at HD broadcast like letterman news ECT it like looking out of a window. It is stunning. I note about regular non HD programming. Bigger TV less quality but in 2-3 years that will be history. I hope this helps you with your decision. If your looking for a great TV you can?t beet the price if you?re wanting the BEST of the BEST perfection, I feel sorry for you there is more to life then TV??. And better places to spend money. Thank you for your time have a great life??.Updated
So far so good still very happy with this 60".I notice that the images burn easily in to screen but it is not permanent will go away easily quickly and I found out that company LG makes this screen for Vizio. Love this TV for the price, great and they dropped price again 2499.00 at Costco.......Updated
It's my typing and spell check and why don?t you work on your manners, I could not find anything on this TV, so I left this to help people. I don?t have much time with my schedule. I rushed to give you information. If you don?t have anything nice to say try shutting up...didn?t your grandparents tell you that?
To every one else TV has been great again for the price very happy with it.

The detail of your post was most helpful. But it was very hard to read because your spelling and grammar were so bad.
