"Absolutely the great features, excellent sound and video"
Pros: Very bright and sharp display even in bright light, 4 HDMI inputs, PIP, POP, Easy to use, greate color and blends well with the furniture
Cons: Get some teenagers, or someone with strong lifting can-do. You need HELP physically setting this puppy up.
Summary: Picked this thing up at Cosco, saw it next to others and was perplexed at first. The Panasonic and Sharp plasma's seemed sharper, until the fast action started. It seemed as though the refresh rates and contrast ratios in those were slower and lower as pixel blocks appeared when things began to speed up. The Vizio did not experience this at all, even on the demo which has been on display for months (i'm sure they keep those things powered up all day, every day). I figured the technology on either LCD, or Plasma still has a way to go before it is truly ready for prime time, so I asked myself, do I spend my hard earned money on something that is still not perfect (clearly over $3k on the better models), or do I spend just $2k for something that has more bells and whistles than the most expensive units and wait a few years for these bugs to all get worked out. I've done allot of reading, and recently I heard that Super HD is coming out over the next year, or two which will make this stuff like watching an etch-a-schetch (well you get my meaning I hope). For these reasons I chose this unit and I am not unhappy one bit. In my family room, this thing blows my mind. I don't remember the side by side comparisons any more and once you try HD, trust me, you never want to go back. Good luck everyone, I've made my decision and it was a good one! I hope this helps you some.
