Pros: Nothing about this TV is good.
Cons: This TV freezes constantly. It won't respond to the remote or the side buttons. This happens 2-3 times an hour. .I can't get a real person on the phone (four tries) or get a response via email (5 have been sent). I bought the TV in June 2008.
Summary: I want to get my money back, but I can't get anyone to contact me about the problem. I have contacted the Oregon State Attorney to see if they can help me. Lousy TV, even worse customer service.

Pros: Decent Picture for the money. Good selection of connections. Easy Setup. Jaggies not bad for 60hz.
Cons: Speakers marginal. Remote does not have an Aspect Ratio Button. Does not auto adjust for resolution.
Summary: As I said, "understand what you are buying". This, clearly is NOT top contender for picture quality, or ease of use, but, for the money it is a worth while consideration. To complain that this TV doesn't have or does have certain deficiencies is unfair, when comparing to more expensive units, and to a certain extent, "you get what you paid for". This Visio offers a fair amount of bang for the buck and won't disappoint if you are reasonable in your expectations at this pricepoint.

"Nice T.V for the price" on by splitbowman
Pros: Received this TV as a gift. Great price. TV was easy to hook up. I am waiting for cable company to come and hook up the digital and HD box.
Cons: Without the HD box, the picture is not very good. It comes in at 480i sd. Remote is a little cheap looking, but won't use it anyways.
Summary: This TV seems to be worth the money. I will know more when I get the HD hooked up.

Very nice LCD TV for the price." on by mmjm89Pros: This Vizio's picture quality is really nice. I really like the picture in picture (PIP) feature that comes with this model. It also offers numerous connections on the back and side of the set. Overall it's a great set.
Cons: The speakers are only average - at times they can sound "TINNY." The location of connector ports were a little difficult to access but again these are only minor 'cons.'
