The Bottom Line	The low-buck, high-value Vizio VP42HDTV deftly avoids most of the picture-quality pitfalls of inexpensive plasmas.	The Vizio VP422 is a 42-inch plasma with a rock-bottom price tag and picture quality that, while certainly not perfect, should satisfy casual viewers.	The Vizio SV470XVT represents a viable alternative for LCD TV bargain hunters who want 120Hz processing.	With deep black levels and generally excellent picture quality, the more eco-friendly Panasonic TC-PS1 series of plasma TVs strikes an appealing price/performance balance.	Sure, it has a few flaws, but nothing fatal prevents the local dimming, LED-backlit Vizio VF551XVT from exhibiting excellent LCD picture quality for the buck.
