Summary The setup, including unboxing, took all of 15 minutes, thanks to easy onscreen directions. WiFi and bluetooth (for the great remote) are both nearly automatic to set up. The remote with QWERTY keyboard makes entering long strings and searches really simple and intuitive. In the middle of the setup, I added a new Apple TV, and both Apple and Vizio made it really simple. I had to wait on both units to do their automatic firmware updates before using the system, but it was worth it, as new services have been added.
The TV is all black and the lighted "Vizio" name at the bottom quickly gets out of the way- non obtrusive, unlike some brands. The stand comes preinstalled and is plenty sturdy. I wish the TV had a matte screen, but so far glare has not been a problem for my application. When you first turn the TV on, it takes a few seconds for anything other than the homescreen to come on, probably because it has to initialize the web connection and some of the apps, the only minor negative I've encountered.
Picture quality is just amazing- I defy anyone to show me a TV with any other as good (and I looked a lot). The presets are great right out of the box, and I don't feel a need to do a full custom calibration. Sound is also quite good, thanks to some decent wattage, speakers (although small) and virtual surround sound. Most other TVs totally skimp on sound, figuring you'll use a home theater sound system anyway. If you want to go that route, it is easy to connect to audio, in half a dozen different ways. There are also plenty of HDMI ports for multiple devices. 3 USB ports are also there, and I understand the latest firmware update finally turned them on. (A full-featured Blu-Ray player can easily add other peripherals such as SD card readers and other USB support.) My Panny 210 3D BR player, and Vizio 3D glasses (get them through Amazon- cheaper...) have arrived, and the 3D experience is pretty good, although there is a little ghosting. I consider any 3D at all a bonus and not a deal-breaker.
It's not just about the awesome specs- this picture delivers. Colors are accurate and nearly jump off the screen. Depth of field is remarkable- almost looks like 3D on some high-end TV shows (and just with an antenna so far). One reason for this is there are so many shades of grey available and viewable, along with true black, that one sees much more detail in the background of a scene than one may be be used to. Mixed with the decent built in sound, this is a true HD experience. (Sales people in my local BestBuy know this set and said they wish BB would carry this and other Vizio TVs for the value they offer.)
The internet apps are excellent, launch quickly, and can stay out of the way. Regular programming is always viewable while you use/watch an app. The whole system is really intuitive and simple to navigate. HuluPlus and Pandora are two of the most recent additions. No YouTube yet, but it's available on most WiFi Blu-ray players and Apple TV anyway.
There is no iPhone app to control the TV, but there probably will be. In the meantime, the bluetooth remote that comes with the TV is simple and straightforward to use, very powerful.
Conclusion: This TV is a great size for an average living room. It is beautiful to look at even when turned off. It is a real performer that has as good a picture as the over-the-top specs would lead one to expect. The sound, while not as good as a dedicated home theater system, is much more than decent, and likely good enough for most people. There are many, many inputs and outputs. If you care about it, the TV comes with active 3D. It is fairly thin and hardly uses any electricity. The warrantee (and add on warrantees) are good and not overpriced. Shop around all you want- then take a look at this one. It is the best value in its class IMHO.

Pros The picture quality here is better than my plasma by far. The Bluetooth remote with keyboard comes with the TV which i thought was amazing. I love the apps on here and the fact that you can pick and choose which ones you want. The ability to change pretty
Cons The only thing i can think of that i don't like about this TV is that there are settings on here that i have never used before and the manual doesn't go into depth to tell me what i need to do to get the best picture. I have been looking around and i can'
Summary All in all i think this product is a great deal. I had been shopping around for a new TV for the man cave for a long time and i started noticing that Vizio makes some great TV's. Especially seeing the reviews for them i was just amazed. Not only do they have some of the only 240hz LED TV's out there, but the fact that they strive on having a great picture over making them look flashy is a great plus. When i finally bought this i got it from Wal-Mart for only about 1300 bucks!! It was definitely cheaper than any of the other LED TV's that i was looking at, which is good because the fact that i hook up my computer to my TV via HDMI i needed something that wouldn't burn in anymore. This was the best choice of 8 different stores i went to and i am never going to look back and regret this purchase. Thank you Vizio for making another great product!
Pros The deep blacks and shadow detail are immaculate! No blooming with this set at all! The colors pop off the screen like I've never seen before. Stay away from edge lit models, these fully back lit models are sooooooooo much better!
Cons None! Zero! Zilch!
Summary Bluetooth remote is very convenient for typing, the widgets are cool but have usable ones already on blu-ray player but nice for someone who doesn't have them already. Power consumption is very low so save $$ over the years.. and after watching Avatar and other vibrant movies, I'd pay twice the price for this set. I do NOT use 3D with this tv, 3D doesn't interest me whatsoever, so all comments are based around regular 2d viewing.
Pros Great menu full of options to tweak the picture to your heart's content.
Picture Quality-outstanding & Uniform
No eye fatigue on this set like I did my Samsung.
Cons A bit heavy for 1 guy to mount on the wall
Summary Just excellent. I didn't expect this level of quality from any TV in this price range, and not from Vizio. Vizio did this one right. They are going edge-lit now like the other TV makers. Price to produce is probably less then the full array LEDs. I'm glad things went the way they did. They drove the price down on an earlier model to make room for the newer models. But I got the better one. They are buying them used off Ebay all day long. The word is out. This TV is a Keeper!
Pros Beyond expectation;bright colors, awesome picture, clear sound, and the motion of 480hrz. This thing will leave you questioning the quality of anyone else with a hdtv. My bottom line if this tv broke tomorrow I would go out and buy the same model again.
Cons the remote is a bit bulky i have large hands so its a bit of a squeeze for my fingers but worth it. Random widget(apps) updates `
Summary My "thing to remember", nothing in this world is perfect the more hi-tech these tv's get the more we have to remember there computers first and tv's second. They will freeze up and have technical issues that a simple turn off and back on will correct.
