"Really Great Picture, very good price"4.0 starson by expressdeluxe
Pros: Great no-glare picture, easy setup mostly, remote syched well to FIOS box, very intuitive menus, 2 year warranty from Costco
Cons: Took TV several days to permit set-up to my wireless network, although it resolved its issues itself. On one or two channels, it pixelates for a second about once a hour.
Summary: Great picture, sound and a very nice price point with 2 year warranty from Costco. (A key feature for us was VISIO's no glare screen.) Remote very simply syched to our FIOS box. (my 6 year old figured out the remote faster than I did.) Great value all around, and we love it. Set-up instructions on screen (and all the menus) are very intuitive, got through most of it in just a few minutes. One issue was that even though it saw my secure Actiontec wireless network, it did not permit me to select it to use it. After several attempts over a few days trying to manually force the connection via the setup menu, it completed it effortlessly. Not sure what the trick was, but I did not have to involve the VISIO tech folks. Two other minor issues so far, on one or two channels, it pixelates for a second about once a hour. Also, when receiving certain non HD content e.g. from local news stories, occasionally the very top line of the picture is a broken line of noise, but not so noticeable. All-in-all so far. we are very pleased, especially with picture, which is tops. This TV replaces our 5 year old Samsung DLP that developed incurable power cycling issues, very common to the model which Samsung refused to acknowledge.
