"Great bang for the buck"
4.0 starson by quinndesignPros: excellent picture, lots of inputs, clean design
Cons: harmony remote programming was a challenge
Summary: An excellent display. With an HD signal the image is beautiful. DVD's also look wonderful on this. Viewed this in comparison to a Sharp 26 LCD. Could not see a difference and Sharp was about $600 more. Trying to configure my Harmony Remote to work with this was a bit of a challenge, due to how the imputs are selected. But that's not Westinghouse's fault. Overall a great display and the price is very resonable, especially in comparison to Sharp.

I bought my LTV-27w2 from Best Buy with a 4yr extended performance warranty--total $1025. I got it home and hooked it up to my Mac Mini 1.42GHz, 512MB, SuperDrive.
This was a DVI connection. I hooked up my XBOX via a component input, also my Direct TV hidef tuner via component.

I set up the Mini Mac at full resolution 1280X720. Superb picture with all. No complaints. I have not tried the built in speakers so I can't comment on that. I have the Logitech THX 3 piece with a sub---all games, iTunes, DirectTV sound very nice.

Why anybody would pay more for a display that probably tops out at 24in, I don't know. You may get a higher resolution computer monitor, but the MAc Mini tops out at 1280X720.

I am very happy with my new monitor. The old WindowsXP computer with a 19in LCD became the family computer, but they keep looking at my setup and drool.

The text is very readable at most font sizes and graphics and photos appear sharp with the LTV-27w2.

Good luck.
