"Needs a little more wow"
Pros: Clean Design no problem with inputs
Cons: Limited Screen Ratio Selection, Cheap remote, Bright blue power light.
Summary: I'm simply not taken by this one. It looks great when it's off with a sharp clean matt black finish. On, the bright blue led power light is a pain to look at. Pick up the remote and the buttons are a little odd to press as the response isn't there. The button layout leaves something to be desired, feeling light and cheap. Screen rations include standard, fill and overscan but more would be nice as most DVD's suffer from black bar syndrome. My HD-Cable signal is also problematic as I get a white box on the top of the screen. With no way of moving the picture on the screen horizontally or vertically I can't get rid of it either. On the image scale it is nice and clear but picture comes out a little too bright and colour more washed out than what I'm used to. Autosoure detection is one feature it does have which makes switching inputs fastand easy for those who are used to just one input. If you take the time to label your inputs switching back is easy too. This feature can be turned off in the menu. Off is nice if you want a second to get a game or dvd ready before switching over to it. Spine Design is great all the cable inputs are to the sides as are the function buttons, inputs at the top (Waterfall), buttons at the bottom. Using the included stand I would ditch the waterfall design preferring to have inputs lower and function buttons moved to the front. The selection of inputs is decent and made it a breeze to plug in all my devices.
