"I recommend this HDTV its very nice!"
on by cohee25401Pros Clarity is awesome! We love it! I like that I can change the brightness for the room lighting.
Cons Couldn't program satellite remote to work to turn on and off or adjust volume, we have to use both. I must be me missing something. Still learning everything. I love the lightning adjustment for the room lighting - very nice feature.
Summary We have been looking for several years for LCD/HDTV. My daughter has a Westinghouse too, which made our decision easier. We saw it on sale at Target for $299.00 the rest is history. The SK-32H640G was easy to setup with our satellite, we use TVGuardian hooked to our satellite receiver, which block out bad words and acts as the modulator, so it was just attach the cable and plug it in the power bar. I wasn't able to get the satellite remote to work in turning on the TV or controlling the volume. I think its me! I love the clarity and the vibrant colors. Its an awesome TV for the price. I compared it to other more expensive models and it rates right up there for clarity and vibrant color. Being a photographer I can not say enough about the color and clarity! I have seen more expensive models that had more clarity and color quality. I recommend this TV! We are still learning all the bells & whistles. I like being able to adjust the lighting for the lighting in the living room very nice feature.

"Good entry level LCD"
on by dharris9311Pros Ease of use. Accurate color. Setup is quick & easy
Cons Blacks not quite dark enough. Audio tweaks laughable... Bass only muffles the sound, treble more screechy than high.
Summary For the price I paid ($320.00) this is a pretty nice television. If it holds out for the year, my Grand kids will inherit this set & I'll splurge on a 47" Samsung!

"Great Value HDTV."
on by TechiKristie33Pros The price was great, picture quality is actually very good, 32", 3 HDMI ports, super lightweight, and well built (for an 'off-brand').
Cons Not the blackest blacks and very basic menu options.
Summary Bought this unsure of the quality with such a low price ($320), but this has proved to be very comparable to the 'name-brand' tv I had before this. Really just 2 words describe it: Great Value.

"PROBLEMS WITH ALL SETS"
on by chipmaster86Pros Great TV for the price, and great picture! Got it on Black Friday 2009 for $240 at target.
Cons The picture for no reason at all just cuts off to a washed out fade on my second set too. I called tech support at westinghouse, and they thought it was my cable cutting out. So I got a new TV just in case and the same thing again.
Summary Don't buy it. Although the picture quality is good for the price, they don't have a good support staff, and fail to recognize this can be a major problem. I called tech support at westinghouse, and they thought it was my cable cutting out. So I got a new TV just in case and the same thing again. I did some of my own testing by unplugging the cable coax, and it came on fine every time with no problem when i put the cable back in. I think this TV has a major bug, and considering reporting it to the the government recall people. i will wait to see more like mine show up here.

"Dissapointing. Not the quality I was expecting."
on by mannywrestlingPros 3 HDMI jacks in rear and VGA. Low price. Light weight.
Cons Terrible quality. I tried different DVD players to be sure and all produced a very grainy picture.
Summary I bought the 42" at Target for $500 plus tax. The 32" was priced at $400. When I finally got it home and connected, we were all very dissapointed with the picture quality. I'll never again buy the lowest priced tv at the sacrifice of quality. My old tube tv had better quality picture! I messed a lot of different things to somehow get a decent picture but nothing worked. It was always a grainy picture. I'm going to return this TV to Target and try a Sony.
