"The 10 is not a Fluke! Stop here for FM Transmitter"5.0 starson by swordsmax
Pros: Clearest signal, Gets all the bass and treble without static. Visible illuminated blue display for when in use. Snugly held in place for safer driving. No magic wand waving to get clear signal.
Cons: Makes wife nag to get one for her car too.
Summary: No Static, good range of stations to dial through. It has 3 programmable channels for quick change. I haven't had the need to change from the one I programmed.
I too had the Belkin II Tunecrap. What a waste of money. I found that apart from getting horrible static, the Belkin II is not safe for driving, you have to pick it up and tune it, or wave it around like a magic wand against the radio to get some clear transmission, AND dragging my IPOD around inside the car. (notice, eyes are not on the road at this point).
With the Iriver AFT-100, it's always in one place, snugly in the ligther socket. My IPOD doesn't get dragged around, and no waving of the magic wand in hopes of catching fairy dust.
Recommendation: This is it for FM Transmission, It's the next best thing to hardwire.
PS: I also tried the 75 bucks Monster FM Tuner, another wand. Too much for the price, but good if u like one with IPOD charger built in to the end of the cable.
