"Does not work with PC"2.5 starson by ajcorson
Pros: Seems well made
Cons: Does not currently work with PCs. Not really wireless.
Summary: I used the wheel very briefly once I found I was a better game driver with the standard controller. None the less, I thought the wheel was well made and met my expectations for a more realistic mode of playing driving games.
A couple of odd things though. First, its not really wireless since it needs an AC outlet to power the force feedback. Second, it still requires 2 AA batteries even though its plugged into the wall. Strikes me as stupid but then again I don't use it too often. Maybe there's a legit reason.
The real frustration for me is that it does not connect to the Xbox 360 PC wireless receiver to play PC games. The controllers work great with this peripheral which really extends their value quite a bit in m opinion. Unfortunately it just doesn't play with the PCs, nearly a year after its release. Is Microsoft being lazy or it this just too complicated for a multi-billion programming company? Obviously I think they've done too little to support the product.
