"Why did they ever stop selling this?"4.5 starson by Koolaidman94
Pros: force feedback
wireless* (see cons)
can be used for racing games that don't support the wheel* (see summary)
Cons: NOT REALLY WIRELESS, the "wireless world" video is a lie. There needs to be a cable connecting the pedals to the wheel. Plus a power cord if you want force feedback.
big and heavy
Summary: This wheel is a must for anyone who plays alot of racing games. The force feedback is really good, and when I am playing PGR4 and the car starts to swerve left and right, it's like the wheel steers itself! That really helps you regain control.
Now here's the big lie when they say it's wireless... It really isnt. You NEED a cord connecting the pedals to the wheel. Then if you want the force feedback or rumble, you need the power adapter plugged in as well. If you've eve seen the "wireless world" video from Microsoft, then you've seen how they show the guy playing a game with no wires connecting the pedals. You can't play it like that! Now the wheel can be powered by a regular controller battery pack with 2 AA batteries... But I've never done it because I want the force feedback and the rumble.
This wheel Can be used with games like FUEL, because the pedals act as the triggers and the wheel acts as the left analog stick in a linear left and right. Now its much harder since you have to really turn the wheel alot but you eventually get used to it. But I have found that this makes it harder at times.
One quick thing is that you lose the use of some buttons like the analog clicks and the right stick.
But all in all I highly reccommend this to anyone who likes to play racing games.
