Cons Once on the system, The buttons of the Face plate don't operate the system
Summary I purchased this item with my 16 year old son. We followed the directions and got the face plate on the system with just a little effort. It looked great. Now we tried to turn the system on and the button from the new face plate would not operate the systems regular button behind it. I looked at the tab which makes contact with the systems button and noticed it was shorter then the original face plate tab. We returned and exchanged it thinking the first was defective. Well we had the same problem with the 2nd one. I called customer support and was not able to talk to anyone. There is a recording asking you to leave your name, number and explanation of your problem. Well, I did that...still waiting. If I find it was my installation error, I will return with a 9+ rating for this product.

Cons LOTS! Poorly designed software, badly perforated cuts, terrible prints, poor print quaility due to substandard paper, no software upon purchase
Summary This is a terrible waste of money. The first thing I noticed was the newspaper board they made the templates with! It looks terrible on the 360! Then, the face plate is HUGE, totally destroying the consoles aesthetics. If you don't have an internet connection, good luck trying to get software for this crap. The perforation is terrible, resulting in rips and tears if you don't use a knife to cut it. The worst part, though, is the software. It is COMPLETLY INACCURATE! The dimensions are NOT CORRECT! I am an advanced photoshop user, so creating beautiful prints is a skill I pride myself in. THIS KIT CANNOT DO THIS! Once you make a print, it looks dull and drab compared to the xbox's sleek design. I have already used 9 out of the 14 templates trying to get an accurate print (yes, my printer is set up correctly), but the downloadable photoshop template is NOT TO SCALE, even though it's adverstised as such! This means that when you size a print, the picture will be differently positioned when printed. I cannot recommend this kit to anybody because it is a total waste of money.

Cons Not photo quality paper
Summary At only $20, this is a great gift for any 360 owner. I wanted a unique faceplate with a custom design so I picked this up for the bargain bassement price of $20. I downloaded the software(You need winzip I believe) and it was easy to use. The only cons I think are the normal quality paper for printing and the inability to switch between layers like in photoshop. Now I have a custom faceplate with a shiny red Ferrari. And it looks fantastic.
