Summary I think it's a great setup, I think in the long run my Xbox 360 will last longer and run smoother. I really don't have a problem with the extra fan noise due to my games running at a louder volume on a Home theater system. I don't even hear the Xbox 360 at all!

Summary Ok... Whoever gave this thing a poor rating obviously did not feel their xbox 360 running under full load without this cooling device, and then at full load with this cooling device... Unbeleivable difference. What I am telling all xbox 360 owners is this is an essential piece of equipment. Do not own a 360 if you dont plan on buying one of these.
It does not matter where you have it placed. My 360 is, and always has been in the wide open space alone. Standing up with all the airconditioned 70 degree air in the world, and the thing was still hot to the touch on the sides. I put this thing on and I can barely feel any heat whatsoever. That tells me it working imediately. Also gameplay is faster, the whole nine yards...
This is an accurate review, and I do not normally write reviews for anything. But after the before and after affects I have felt with my own bare hands this is the best insurance policy I can think of after dropping $400 on this thing. I am extremely pleased. Do not take my word for it. Go out and drop $20. If I am wrong simply take it back. But once you feel the difference you to will probably be writing a review for this thing too. -

Cons Only the noise.
Summary The intercooler does its job very well. I no longer have to worry about playing a TopSpin Tourney only to have the 360 lock up in the final round. I was really surprised as to how much the Intercooler actually cools down the 360. The only issue is the fan noise but seeing as how I play the 360 with surround sound; the noise quickly fades into the background. The noise is a very small price to pay for protecting your investment. This is a must have add on in my opinion.

Summary I don't know why people are spreading negative rumors that this product is a worthless crap ?? Yes, it may melt your system, only if you play for 5-6 hrs, nonstop. Xbox 360 was originally engineered before 2004 which is the reason why it cannot resist heat and is bound to give RROD problem even without a cooler. Long ago PC also faced overheating issues but today one can easily keep on upgrading and "heat" is no more a factor for computers. I would recommend all the Xbox 360 Xenon (2005-2006) and Zephyr users (2006-2007) (http://kurtsh.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!DA410C7F7E038D!4487.entry) to definitely buy this product. Play for 1-2 hrs with this inter-cooler, it will not only keep your console cool but your 360 will last for years without any RROD. Happy Gaming !!
