"Silicon Knights Did a Fine Job."
Pros: Graphics, Story, New Gameplay Twist (aka Sanity )
Cons: hmm... I dont know.
Summary: I played this game when it first came out and beat it twice for my own reasons, but if you are walking into a gaming store and see a used copy, pick it up and have a good time on those rainy days.
As for the game itself,
Silicon Knights (the developer) hooked me with this game. The graphics are splendid, only bested by Prince of Persia and Metroid, that I have played (not-kidding). That added with a storyline that can captivate the Indiana Jones inside all of us, the game ends up being really good.
When you first start playing the game, it feels a lot like Resident Evil, same camera angles, same rickety house feeling ? but that?s pretty much where that ends. Once you heed my advice and play the game you will also be introduced to a new twist of ?sanity? that really ices the cake for this game. Instead of having just health and magic, you also have sanity. When you start to lose this new sanity, all sorts of weird crap happens. Literally. When I beat the game for the second time, I was pretty sure I didn?t see it all. I just lent this game to a friend of mine and I?ve already had momentary achings to play it through a third time.
PS: Just so you don?t think I am crazy, there are multiple endings.
