Summary: I bought a gamecube becuase of this game when it came out. Me and my friends have tournaments everyother week, and Ive always played with my bro, who i cant seem to beat. The Game play for this game is amazingly deep while easy to play. there are 3 main dodge moves besides jumping. These are used constantly also with a lesser known techniques known as wave dashing but that not important. The best competitive game with friends. IM the best at my school !!!!!

Pros: Best graphics (in its time), amazing character selection (over 30), amazing level selection (over 20), 51 event matches, 292 trophies, great controls, endless fun things to do, and much much more.
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE
Summary: its been 6 years since this game has come out and 5 since ive bought it and to this day i still play it as if i first bought it. If you're looking for the game you never want to get sick of, this is the one! I cannot stress enough how completely incredible this game is!! If i were to tell you about all of the amazing things this game has to offer, i would be typing for like 6 pages! The game in general is very very simple as a fighting game. you jump around in a 3d sidescrolling area and whail at each other in any way possible. There are many button combinations that give a wide variety of attacks that are either fast and weak, or slow and deadly (depending on the character you play as). What makes this game so brilliantly addicting is the fact that as you keep attacking someone, they'll have a percentage meter at the bottom that keeps increasing as they get hit, then when it gets high enough and you attack them powerfully enough, they will sail off stage and you'll gain a point as they lose one. Thats pretty much what makes this game a unique and fantastic landmark in gaming. Another fun trait is that you can have as many friends over as you want and they all will be able to participate. yup because not four, but up to 64 players can participate in a uniquely customizable tournament mode. This is the must have game and i hope the next one is the same, and i still haven't found any game for any system as fun as this.

Cons: No Online Play??
Summary: This game is the best game for the Gamecube. It is so much fun to play. I bought the gamecube for this game and have clock over 3,000 vs. matches with my friends. Words can't explain how much fun this game is. YOU MUST PICK THIS GAME UP IF YOU HAVE A GAMECUBE. Or you could wait for the Revolution version of the game which will have a ton more features and ONLINE PLAY. This is the killer app for the Gamecube.
