The console version of the Tomb Raider series has slid downhill over the years. Luckily, the opposite is true for the wireless version of the series, as shown by Eidos' latest solid Tomb Raider effort.

The Osiris Codex has Lara searching for treasure in vast caverns--so vast that an early area (there are nine) took several minutes to complete even after I knew exactly what I needed to do. The game is challenging without being frustrating and manages to avoid cliché find-the-key-and-go-to-the-exit missions. Even better, your gun is barely used, as most of the time you have to think your way out of situations.
