S/W won't load

Cons: S/W won't load. Company doesn't care
Dear Ancestry.com
Dec. 28 was not a good day. I received a gift of software for my birthday, in early December, It was Family Tree Maker ver 2011. So I thought; "This will be a good day to load the new software" WRONG !!.
Very simply, it did not load, I went through four sessions with their technical help staff; 1) Put the FTM 2011 disk contents on your desktop and try, 2) Delete all data from the TEMP folder, then try 3). Update the Windows Installer s/w and try, 4) do a clean boot and then try. None of these four "Ancestry.com Technical helps" worked. Also, in each of the four sessions, they were too busy to stick with me, on the phone, while I tried their fixes. So I had to call back each time and wait in their phone queue to get the next installment of useless help. The clean boot adjustments, which I was required to download from the Microsoft website, tripped the Windows XP-Pro "you need to reactivate Widows" software. Then I had to deal with Microsoft-XP's Activation Staff to get my computer operating again.
After I finally quit trying to load FTM 2011, at 6:00pm that evening, after the four calls to Ancestry.com, plus the call to Microsoft, I found that I had spent about 7 hours and I still didn't have an update for FTM 2009 FTM 2011 still won't load. I'll email them tomorrow, and try to get online help. (I did on the 29th and and they did not respond). Ancestry.com technical support had even suggested that I try to get Office Depot to try to load the FTM 2011 into one of their computers. That wouldn't have done me much good but I guess Ancestry.com must think that Office Depot and I have unlimited time and funds to support Ancestry.com's beta testing. . I have gone to and received a refund from Office Depot and will stick with using my old version of FTM, 2009.
I really hate sloppy, poorly tested s/w. I had even asked them to download an upgraded version to me that would load. They said that they didn't have that capability. Their technical help is very impersonal and didn't really seem to care if I got their program loaded and running or not.
I'm really irritated with Ancestry.com. I've been sending them membership money for quite a while, and I feel that I've been treated very poorly. I guess they feel that they don't have much competition so their customers can go take a flying .......
See ya
