""cheap" in every sense"
Pros: durable, inexpensive
Cons: freezes up a lot
Summary: I have had the Cobra GPS 100 for over a year now and I have used it only a couple times. The reason for this is because of the hassle it gave me when I got it. I decided to give it another shot yesterday just to make sure it was not user error. I am now certain it was not. I went on a hike and at the end of the hike the GPS froze up. I could not do anything but pull out the batteries to reset the unit and by doing this the information for my hike was all lost and could not be recovered. I am glad that I was on a trail that I know so I was able to find my way back, without the GPS. If I had to depend on this GPS to help me navigate back I would have been in trouble. I am not sure why this unit freezes up so much but this is only one of the many times it has frozen up on me. Cobra needs to recall this unit and offer some sort of compensation for the poor, unfortunate consumers who bought this unit and were taken advantage of.
