"Stay Away from this unit!"
Pros: When it works, it's great
Cons: It rarely works. Neither Tom Tom or Eclipse will claim responsibility
Summary: I fell in love with this unit after the CNET review of it. It had everything I wanted and more. Unfortunatley there's a terrible software bug that prevents the unit from totally shutting down when you power off your car. Result..... dead battery. I've gone through 2 batteries and countless trips to Circuit City trying to figure out the issue.
Finally gave up and returned it for a Pioneer AVIC-D3. Do yourself a favor, don't buy this unit. Spend the extra $200 - $300 and get teh Pioneer. You won't regret it!

A had the same problem and it is easily fixed. The 1gb memory card doesnt have enough free memory for the unit. All you have to do is buy a 2gb sd memory stick ( paid $20 at circuit city) , plug the unit into the computer and copy all the info over. Unit works fine now. I hope this helps every one
