Pros: WAAS-ready GPS device accepts radio signals which can help increase accuracy of positioning data to within 3 meters.Share information, update database maps, and add programs using this receiver's USB computer connection.Tracklog function automatically creates a record of the path traveled and stores it as a series of points for later use.Safe in all weather, this unit is waterproof.System includes Garmin Americas recreational basemap.

Cons: Has a 2 in screen size.This is not out of line with the product's price, but is less favorable than the average GPS receiver on the market today.

Suitability: A variable-use GPS receiver, suited for a variety of activities.Has an internal antenna which is desirable for activities where an external antenna would get in the way.This unit is lightweight, weighing in at 5.5 oz.

Value: In view of its inexpensive price, this GPS receiver has great features for the money.Also note this unit is able to store up to 500 waypoints.This is in line with the average GPS device.

Suggestions: This GPS device has only internal memory.If you plan to store many trips or add base maps, you may wish to consider a unit that has removable storage media.
