"Very small and lightweight GPS unit"
Pros: Very small, lightweight, decent tracking features, backlight
Cons: Weak signal when not exposed to sky
Summary: First off, I really like this Garmin unit. It is VERY small and lightweight, which is great for hiking and cycling. I mount mine on the handlebars (with optional bike mount kit) and use as a bike computer. I also snap this unit on the bars of my dirtbike so I don't get lost in the desert. Battery life is fair, not great. I posted a review on expotv.com
Note: the antenna is small, so if this unit is in your backpack or pocket or indoors, you will lose the signal. It MUST be open to the sky. This is fine if you are wrist-mounting, or handlebar mounting. If you are looking for a reciever to put in your bag/backpack/pocket, that will continue tracking, look for larger receivers with larger antennas.
