"Disappointed with the nautical charts"
Pros: Average GPS unit
Cons: Instruction book not user friendly. The Instruction manual does not tell how to manually enter waypoint numbers, I figured out how to do it on this machine.
Summary: I purchased the g2 Vision Software for an additional $279. I am very disappointed. I do not see any difference between the nautical charts "pre-loaded" on the GPS 440 and when I put in the $279 g2 Vision chip. True with the g2 chip you get a satellite over view, but I thought to get detailed coastal charts I need the g2 chip. I wasted $279 on the g2 chip.
