Pros: Better resolution, thin size, ECO format, Can be used for auto driving, bicycling and walking.
Cons: Expensive GPS.
Summary: The Garmin nüvi 3750 is their latest generation of GPS models. The major enhancement is their iPhone-like physical layout. It's size is very close to the iPhone--and you can view in portrait or landscape mode by just moving it. The upgraded resolution is the other major benefit of the 37xx series. If you don't need Bluetooth or voice navigation, this is the model for you.Having previously owned a Garmin 1450, the 3750 is very comparable in features. I found that when I turned it on the first time, it acquired satellites in less than 30 seconds, shorter time than any Garmin I have owned. The mapping is comparable as well. The major improvement is the resolution as mentioned above. Let's take a look the pros and cons of the 3750.PROS: Easy to read and navigate with this model. The advanced resolution is its biggest plus. Signal acquiring seems faster than previous models. You can use the 3750 in automotive, walking or bicycling modes. This multi-function makes this model attractive. It's so small and thin (9mm) that you can easily put it in your pocket. Eco mode is worthwhile if you are concerned with the price of gas on a long trip.CONS: The main issue is price. When this model was introduced last year, the original price of $350 seemed ridiculous compared to current models. Fortunately, the price has dropped to around $250 by many online vendors. Of course, this is still too high compared to older models.Overall, the nüvi 3750 is a strong performer. Although it has many features common to older Garmin models, its size, weight and resolution are key benefits. If only the price was more reasonable, it would make for an easy purchase for most consumers.
