Pros Quick satellite connection, Nice screen, lane assist, traffic and lifetime maps. So far so good on accuracy, and performance. This is my second Garmin Nuvi (first was stolen). Nice upgrade from my previous nuvi 360 which I loved to death! The Eco Rout

Cons No bluetooth connection, but I knew that before buying.

Summary Excellent GPS system for the average driver. Does it have all the bells and whistles? No, but you get what you pay for and this has an excellent price tag!

  • "Excellent Unit"
    on by wobble

Pros Nice bright readable screen day or night

    Cons There aren't any

Summary When I first purchased, got it registered on Garmin website. Then immediately downloaded new maps which took a little over a half hour without a hitch. It connects to satellites in a timely manner and holds signal unlike my previous TomTom XL 340S when bought new1-1/2 years ago. This Garmin does everything I want it to do when taking vacation trips several times a year. I stronly recommend this unit!.

  • "Couldn't even find "DMV""
    on by javanut4673

    Pros Large screen.

Cons Couldn't find specific retail shop or on the other spectrum, the DMV under "DMV" or "Department of Motor Vehicles". The touch sensitivity was virtually non-existent and you must type in complete names to find something (i.e. no auto-complete functionality

Summary I wouldn't wish GARMIN on anyone. Purchased the 1350 LMT - what a piece of junk. Tried to find MARUKAI (a well establish Japanese grocery store chain in Japan and California). NO GO. Next I tried to find "DMV" or "Department of Motor Vehicles" which is located 4.5 miles down the road and again NO GO. But I did find a donut shop approx. 108 miles away!! Who in their right mind would want to know of a donut shop that is ONE HUNDRED EIGHT miles away???

Called Garmin. Was told that POI (points of interest) would not be comprehensive. Are you kidding me? DMV is not included??? Was told my other option for finding various locations was to "LOOK IT UP ON THE OCMPUTER AND TO MANUALLY ENTER IN THE ADDRESS"!!!!! If that is the only way to find something using GARMIN, I may as well print out the location where I got the address from my computer and use it! I was further informed that GARMIN GPS was for use in finding things like GAS STATIONS! Talk about useless.

Went to purchase accessories on SHOP.GARMIN.COM and depending on the entrance/access method, you will end up with DIFFERENT accessories! Their website is very very fragmented. If you then go to FAQ or even try to get support, model "1350" shows, model 1370t shows but no "1350LMT". Remember it does not state "1300 series" which would obviously cover my unit.

Funny, my MAGELLAN had no problems with either function or location.

Bottomline: Try another brand because even if the maps and traffic are updated for free, if the GPS can't find what you need, it isn't worth it at any price.
