"Amazing GPS unit for the price!"
Pros: Altimeter, Built-in detailed maps, Accurate, Easy to use!
Cons: No connection with PC
Summary: This is one of the best GPS units I have used for the price.
The altimeter, spedometer and electronic compas are VERY accurate. The maps are in more detail that I expected, with even surface streets! (Note, only main surface streets are show)
Ease of use has also blown me away. For a novice user, the menu options are very easy to follow and personalize.
This unit has even works inside my house, inside my moving car, and in other buildings where most other GPS units lose signal.
Simply put, this unit is AWESOME. The only con is that there is not an option for a charger hook-up or PC connection, however, these can be found in the Magellan Explorist 400/500/600 models. However, for the novice/intermediate user, this GPS has it all...and the price is much lower than I would expect.
