"Good navigation, but cuts some corners"
Pros: Great GPS and mapping, directions right on. Alerts well before each turn. Uses standard SD cards for data storage.
Cons: Data transfer is using a serial cable. This is S..L...O..W. It's 2004. They could at least give you USB speed. Downloading a 20Mb map of the Bay area took about 1 hour. And lots of newer computers don't even have a serial port. And if you have a Mac, you

"Useless in driving without voice prompt!"
Pros: Color screen Battery power, portable
Cons: Map is hard to use Support sucks from the company Advertised for Europe map in Spring 2004, but still not available Battery doesn't last long No voice prompt, hard to use while driving

Cons: Slow GPS signal acquisition, copy protected software, HDW only supports serial ports, (aka no USBs), SW doesn't work with WinXP SR2 nor with Vista
