  • "Works well, really boosts GPS performance"

    Pros: -> GPS booster works well, 50-60% improvement in signal
    -> Works with my NAVIGON application on iPhone
    -> High quality sound integration (iTunes)
    -> SOLID construction
    -> surprisingly good BlueTooth performance

    Cons: -> Button on the back? what were they thinking? Very difficult to get at when you're driving!
    -> No way to skip songs on iTunes

    Summary: I'm very happy with the unit - it does what I wanted, and the Bluetooth is a bonus, works better than my other hands-free BT system, which was unexpected. Unlike my BlueAnt S1, the Magellan actually works with voice activated dialing on the iPhone. And the price was reasonable, considering the quality of this unit, the built-in handsfree, etc. A decent visor-mounted handsfree alone costs more than the Magellan, so contrary to what the C-NET reviewer said, I think it's value for money.
