"#1 choice for use off-roading."
Pros: Only GPS that uses actual USGS topo maps. Extreme accuracy. Seamless transfer of NG Topo maps with highlighted trails from my laptop. I can now see instantly if I make a wrong turn on the trail. Even my techno-phobic wife uses this GPS with ease.
Cons: Screen size is wonderful for hiking, but a larger screen version would be nice for those of us who drive & monitor the GPS at the same time.

"So much promised, so little delivered."
Pros: Displays USGS 1:24,000 topo maps. It's why I bought it, the only one on the market (at the time) to do so. For hiking, it has performed well. Excellent signal lock, great accuracy.
Cons: Has alleged features that just don't seem to work. Updates have not helped. No street level software. Magellan customer service is just UNREAL. At times, the language barrier makes it impossible to even describe the problem.
