Summary I PURCHASED A NIKE GPS SPORTWATCH OVER A YEAR AGO & NOW HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MOISTURE ON THE INTERIOR.
I CALLED NIKE SUPPORT ON 06.03.12 AT 11:30AM PST. TO DISCUSS SERVICE OPTIONS & WAS TOLD THAT THE WATCH IS NOT SERVICEABLE.
THAT'S RIGHT...THE WATCH IS NOT SERVICEABLE!
YOU CAN IMAGINE MY SURPRISE... IN SHORT, THAT NIKE WILL NOT SUPPORT THE DEVICE BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD!
OF COURSE, THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, NOR CAN IT BE FOUND IN ANY DOCUMENTATION FOR THE WATCH.
SO HERE I AM, ABSOLUTELY PERPLEXED AT THE IRRISPONSIBLITY OF NIKE TO STICK ITS CONSUMERS WITH A $300.00 DEVICE THAT IS GUARANTEED TO WORK FOR ONLY (1) YEAR...PERIOD.
IN ALL FAIRNESS, I WAS OFFERED EXPEDITED SHIPPING FOR A PURCHASED REPLACEMENT...DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL NIKE TO CONFIRM.

Cons Takes a bit to get used to on your wrist because of it's bulk
No Voice Feedback..but..it's a watch..
Summary First off, I'd classify myself as a fairly avid runner, running between 30 & 50 miles a week (5 runs), so I use this watch A LOT. The reason I appreciate it as much as I do is because I've used a few other products over the last 5 years, and their accuracy has been really frustrating to say the least.
I began with the Nike+ system 5 years ago when it was just a shoe pod, a dongle and your Ipod Nano. While it was a great idea, I would run distances as short as 3 miles and have this thing off as many 5 tenths, which is a TON. As smart phone popularity increased, I started using a few different GPS tracking apps on my phone and while they were very accurrate most of the time, again, at least once a week they would be off by even more than my old Nike+. Also, always being forced to carry a smartphone when I've already got my water bottles, gels, and everything else bothers me.
All of these things led me to try the Nike+ GPS watch, 1 because it has the GPS tracking that had proved so accurrate on MOST of my runs w/ the smartphone, 2, it had the footpod which would kick in if I was running somewhere w/o a strong GPS signal, and 3, it was watch, small and compact.
(Side note, you don't have to calibrate the foot pod like you used to w/ the old Nike+ system, as long as you are running w/ the foot pod and GPS turned on, it will calibrate it for you)
So, every day, since day 1, I've thrown on my shoes, walked around to activate the foot pod, then stayed staionary until the gps linked, ran 5-10 miles, walked back inside my house, plugged the watch directly into the computer, let it update my GPS information and download my workout, and to this day, it's never failed me.
FYI before your first use, make sure you download the newest software from the NikePlus website, and make sure you have your NikePlus account set up already. Once everything is installed, configured and linked, plug your watch in to get the latest GPS settings and watch software, then go for your first run, you won't be dissappointed.
Oh yeah, the negative things, I do like voice feedback instead of having to check my watch all the time, but, it's not that big of a deal, and, as far as the batteries are concerned, I'm a little bummed that it won't last for an entire Ultra....oh well
Pros Beautiful watch
Simple design with integrated USB connector
Easy to use
Nike+ Connect software
Good customer service
Cons Not reliable, GPS doesn't link
Summary I used this only once. The next week, I tried using it again and it would not link to the satellite. I tried a few times, called Customer Service, did a factory reset. Next day, tried again - different location - and still did not work. I searched and saw that this seems to be a common problem. I waited 2-3 minutes to link which seems on the edge of what is reasonable (when you're ready to go for a run, to have to wait that long seems non-functional).
Customer Service was very helpful both times. They are shipping me an exchange. Problem is, I have no confidence that the watch will work for very long. Seems like poor product development. For such an expensive watch, I would have expected to be able to use this watch for 5 years.
Keeps run data
The online Nike+ website is great
Support will send replacements
Cons Will not connect to my home computer (I've tried everything including uninstalling my firewall and unplugging all other USB devices)
Screen flashes off and on now
Better off spending more money on a Garmin
Summary I am on my second watch in three months and now this one is going bad. The first one wouldn't connect to my home computer so they sent me a replacement as the support did not know how to resolve the issue. When the replacement did not connect either I resigned myself to having to sync my runs at work. Now after having the second watch for a month the screen flashes. So three months and two failed watches. Just want to return it now and save for a Garmin.
