"Great product if you know how to use it."
Pros: This unit can do everything. Satalite radio, HD radio, ipod with video, Aux, Backup camera, BT for your phone, and alot more Works with iphone
ICons: It runs on windows so you have to know what your doing. This isnt a bad thing because it opens it up to alot of modding. Loading the ipod take time, turn off the VR until you change whats on your ipod and you wont have to wait.
Summary: First thing I want to say is don't blame the product for the law, besides its very easy to bypass the Pioneer Unit. Also if you are not running the newest firmware don't blame the product, just update it. 2.0 solves a lot of problems. There are a lot of mods for this unit from themes to changing how it works. There is even a new program that allows other software to be installed on the unit. Check out avic411 for all the information on how to use this unit and make changes.
If your not the type to install it your self or don't want to attempt the bypass go to a good installer and have it done. A good place will prolly bypass it anyways (don't expect the local best buy to do it). If you ask and they don't know what your talking about go somewhere else.
The bottom line this unit is great if you take an hour or two to learn how to use it. A good installer will also show you how it works.
