Summary PSP 9 is a true bargain. It has many of the most needed tools built in and doesn't require a lot of third party filters. These tools work! I've tried several other editors and this is one the most powerful and easily the most intuitive. Another plus: it is reasonably priced.

Cons Some brushes lag with slower machines. No history palette. Does not fully support layer masks and adjustment layers imported from Photoshop.
Summary I love this program. It is a beautiful and excellent tool for any serious digital illustrator or artist. You get nearly realistic quality of "traditional paint" with impasto and paint mixing with the flexibility of a digital workspace. I've worked wonders and seen others use this tool to produce some amazing stuff and it works well with Photoshop. Use it with a Mac only.
