"So much for plug and play!"
1.0 starson by kticknerPros: One of the few last AGP 512MB Video Cards available
Cons: Once I installed the card all of my games no longer worked.
Summary: I had been enjoying my budget Nvidia 5200 AGP 128MB graphics card for the past couple of years but, it was showing its age being unable to play Battlefield 2. I thought I would purchase the ATI X1600Pro AGP card being that it received such great reviews on CNET.
Unfortunetly, I had a terrible experience with the purchase of this card. I had always used Nvidia in the past but, I thought I would give ATI a try. Well, never again. I not only lost all game play, I lost audio as well. I took the ATI card out of my system after trouble shooting it for over 2 hours. I placed my old trusty Nvidia card back in and everything worked just fine.
I am taking the ATI card back to CompUSA where I purchased it and will exchange it for a comparable Nvidia graphics card.
