"Awesome Cards For An Awesome Price" on
Pros: Easy setup. Great Price. Awesome Performance.
Cons: None yet. And judging from past experiences with ATi there probably won't be any.
Summary: I owned a GeForce 6600GT before I bought this card. The 6600Gt was plagued with problems. It messed up a month after I bought and so I had to return it to PNY to get another card (which took almost a month to get). I finally gave up on it and went with the competitor. I am happy to say that I am converted. ATi Rocks!!!!

"Excellent Value" on by SPARTAN VI
Pros: Midrange price for near top-of-the-line performance.
Cons: Doesn't support SM3.0, doesn't OC that well.
Summary: Got my PCI-E x800XL for $250 at MonarchComputer. One heck of a deal. Couple with my A64 3700+ SD, this beast tears everything apart. Playing HL2 at 1680x1050 4xAA 16xAF everything on High. My 3dmark03 scored nearly doubled (11,000)since my P4 3.0E + 6600GT (6,000)and my 3dmark05 nearly scored doubled, too- 5,300 vs the 6600GTs 3,000. It's a shame it doesn't support SM3.0, I would love to play FarCry in HDR.

"The reviews are right on" on by djtuckerman
Pros: Price and Performance
Cons: Fit & finish
Summary: I decided to follow through on the reviews for this card and have found them to be true- great card for the price. I saw an appropriate increase in Benchmark tests and real world use based on what the reviews led me to expect.
One problem- the slot cover was a little to "tall" to fit perfectly in my case, but close enough to not be an issue.
As to supply, I bought mine at CompUSA- they seemed to have plenty in stock. -
"Great card!" on by jltomlin
Pros: Runs all my games without any problems.
Cons: Fan a bit noisy.
Summary: After checking out various reviews on different video cards, I decided to try this one out. I've had it for a couple of months now. I am VERY happy with the performance I have seen with my games (HL2, Far Cry, BF2 are my favorites). The fan is a bit noisy, but doesn't distract from gameplay in my experience. You can download ATItool for overclocking and other card management tools if desired. The card was easy to install in my Dell Dimension 8400.

"Good value with one serious limitation" on by windbender
Pros: Excellent performance and reliability
Cons: Doesn't support shader 3.0
Summary: First rate video card in the 256MB range, particularly in view of its price. One downside, as with other ATI cards, - it doesn't support shader 3.0. This means that you can't play games like Battlefield 2142 and Bioshock, for example. A dyed in the wool ATI fan, their inability (unwillingness?) to offer a software fix for this (after more than a year of complaints from gamers) has lead me to NVidia at last.
