    Pros: I think you missed it big time CNET! This card is an excellent value, all the newest games play very respectfully on this card.

    Cons: If you absolutely MUST crank it up to 1600x1200 you sacrifice some quality. But you can't play any card at that res. unless you can fork out about $300 more.

    I had an XFX 6600GT PCI-E, and have a 2005fpw 20.1". Played CS:S at 1680x1050, no AA, 8xAF, around 30-60fps. Paid $250 for an x800XL PCI-E, now CS:S is at 1680x1050 4xAA 16xAF and never goes below 70fps. $300 more? Try $50. This card was pretty good, but it became obsolete the second it was released. If you can afford to go higher, there's no reason to pay the 6600GT a visit.
