"CNET REVIEWS ARE HILARIOUS and garbage"
4.5 starson by agentsandersonPros: CNET REVIEWS ARE HILARIOUS
Cons: CNET REVIEWS, WHILE FUNNY, ARE GARBAGE
Summary: ahaha. I dont know what to find more funny. The fact that cnet is reviewing a card that has been out for almost 2 monthes, or the fact over 20 reviews were out since day one at real review sites. I also wonder why the cnet team bother putting this crap up. Its like being dead last in a marathon and still deciding to crawl over the finish line when you are like in 456th place. The reviews tests this card in Half Life 2, hahaha. A game that a 6800ULtra runs on max settings, a game that a 6600gt runs on max settings. Cnet why the heck dont you actually try the 7900gtx in a demanding game. They then try it in Doom(yes I read your dumb explanation). Even worse, they lie on the cover page saying this, "Outpaced by ATI's competitor in single-card mode" While the 7900GTX was only beat in one game. If these kids who reviewed it know anything they would no the 7900GTX and 1900XTX are fairly even and both win their fair share of benchmarks. Even a 5 year old could write a better review than this. The reviewer doesnt even post system specs, or cpu used (Oh yeah, obviously the kid hasn't heard of CPU bottlnecking) ahhh, Well, any one spending $500 on a card wouldnt even look at this as their source in the first place. These cnet kids are truely lost.

This review os trash. They probably just copy and pasted it from other review sites. No other site reported problems excpet for Cnet. One guys backed up Cnet saying they post cool stuff. THAT IS IRRELEVANT. Look at Cnet forums. Not one of the people there can post you good infromation, or even help you with overclocking. Anyways, the reveiw is garbage. It's been out, and one test doesn't prove anything. Anderson, don't even bother reading this garbage. Took them 2 minutes is all.

[Edited by: admin]

Here is some news you may find shocking. Cnet is for people who really don't know computers all that well (amatures) not that it is a bad thing thats just who they center as their target web-site readers. They have cool stuff on here sometimes; their reviews are way behind and lack any in-depth knowledge. It's a great place to get your feet wet if you are getting into computers and Tech. If you have been reading your WSJ like I have you've been finding out that a lot of big media corporations have been buying out websites. This = crap, more what we want you to hear than what is the truth.

dude, chill out. it is just a review for a video card. there are more important things you know (no, i am not talking about star wars). i can dig being into computers and technology but sometimes some of you people need to get a life. everything sucks for people like you, microsoft is crap! apple stinks! ipods suck! nvidia sucks and so does ati!

i like how c-net reviews.. i find them very helpful. Maybe they take time, but many others do too.. and others get it early, just days after released, but it is not complete or have a higher risk of missing something. You can go by one review, you have to also read other's experiences. anyway, i would like to know what sites you go check for reviews, you might have better sources on this.

Get off your high horse, King Cybergeek.
I'm looking at purchasing this card, and I appreciate any additional input and reviews I can read before doing so. Some are better than others, but when you come to cnet you have to appreciate the breadth and depth of the products they review. Obviously not every review can be as detailed as those dedicated to reviewing graphic cards alone.
