"great but, expensive, don't agree with cnet"
Pros: it's nvidia, should i say much more
Cons: expensive, so what if dx 10 is coming out soon
Summary: ati's highest card regardless in crossfire mode or whatever it's called doesn't outperform the highest nvidia cards in sli mode.
just look at the specs...and the tests.

$600-$700 is not expensive for a video card...

In todays world, framerates are thought to be the ultimate detection of superior video cards. However, image quality is also another important factor. What the writer is talking about is that Ati generally has better image quality than Nvidia, though it doesn't always have the top spot in the highest framerates.

You said that the NVidia SLI hardware is better. Granted. Who can afford more than $1000 just for video? So, for less than half of the cost the ATI solution is almost as good. Problem solved. ATI it is.
