"My OEM card went down after a thunderstorm so I picked up the 6600." on by thisuserisnotknown
Pros: It is very quiet after my afterburner sounding ATI card. The price was perfect for my budget. Easy to install and update. Very nice looking in 3D games, like Guild Wars. Connectors supplied.
Cons: So far there is not too much to complain about. The user interface is not as friendly as the Catalyst setup.
Summary: While I have only had the card for a few days, i like it so far. Just the fact that it is more quiet than my old 9800 is a great benefit. I would recommend this card if you can not spend more than 200 dollars.

"I needed a video card upgrade to run Battlefield 2." on by flemster
Pros: I can now run Battlefield 2 with no lock ups. I can also run FEAR and Madden 06 at high resolution.
Cons: A definite step up in system resource utlization. I run 1GB of memory and I have had to bump up my virtual memory as well. CPU is still spiking a bit but gaming is fine.
Summary: For the price and the performance it is a great card. I would recommend this card to those who want to play the latest PC games but don't want to or can't afford to spend $200 or more.

"The one graphics card you'll ever need...or a while" on by Frogdude69
Pros: Play's pretty much ANY game...its amazing.
Cons: The fan may malfunction & Burn out.
Summary: This graphics card is just plain great. It can play some of the most graphically advanced games at full power (such as Oblivion). I've not had any significant problems with this other than the fan malfunctioning and over-heating; but that can be replaced by Nvidia for free with your warranty.

"sweet card, great performance" on by terrapin24h
Pros: good textures rendering, high resolution support(1680x1050) off DVI
Cons: Fan can be a bit loud
Summary: I upgraded from my fx5200 ultra because it's dvi port could not go to the max res of my new viewsonic widescreen LCD. Only the 5200 analog port would, which p*ssed me off(although to be fair that card was a few years old). Anyway, Doom, Quake, Farcry, FEAR all run great on this card! Doom and quake both run 1024x768 with 4x AA no sweat! Farcry and fear stutter abit, but that's prob more all the crap I have on the system than the card. But seriously, this card is really nice, and considering i paid 100 bucks US, i'm really happy with it. I'm not a huge gamer, but I really like this card, and I can't wait to hook it up to my 52" HDTV and jam farcry!!!!
