"Its a beast (in a very good way)"
Pros: fast, very fast, handles almost all games out as of 10/1/2007
Cons: duel power supply connection, big
Summary: Iv now had the pleasure of owning this card for the last 1 and a half, and i have to say I'm extremely impressed with it, its handled every game iv thrown at it
Half life 2 and counter strike source have both produced frame rates well into the 100's even with every thing maxed
Doom3 is another game where this card shines
hitting over 120fps with ultra settings in the heat of battle
even new games such as elder scrolls oblivion, with every thing maxed (including draw distance) it can achieve stunning FPS
Cnet, haven't got a clue, they say with this cards chip and memory, its not cut out for games, i think they need to do some more testing
my PC up against a simpler set up but using a 7900gt PCI-e, and mine simply blew it away
If you can find the right drivers, this card is a beast, even compared to the newer cards, and all this and it isn't even over clocked :o
And its windows vista compatible, (in the vista scoring table it hits a 5.9)
If you want a blisteringly fast card, that's AGP, get this one, you wont be disappointed
Just make sure you have enough room in your case, It needs a 350w power supply and uses two molar connectors into the back of it
(i read down a few spaces and heard someone say it needs a 480w?) yet mine ran fine on a 350w even with 3harddrives DVD burner, and loads of funky lights.
Worthy of note though, is my card blue screens with the drivers shipped with it, best to get the drivers from Nvidia.
