"Falsely advertised - No 1080P support"
0.5 starson by KeyanReidPros: Low cost non-invasive alternative to graphics cards for a 2nd monitor or display relay needing resolutions of 720P/1440 x 900 and under
Cons: Sold as supporting 1080P / 1920 x 1080 resolutions. It doesn't.
Issues with Windows 8 (all versions) and NVidia graphics cards, ranging from strange system behavior to screen flickering and black-outs.
Software client and utility is crap.Summary: Low cost and ease of use could make it valuable for quickly adding multiple low resolution or small-size monitors. But if you're looking for a serious alternative to graphics cards to add another beautiful LCD/LED monitor to your set-up, this isn't the way to go.
This is, of course, variable, but I would say that if you have a 17" monitor/15" laptop or higher, than this is probably best avoided. The 1440 x 900 resolution cap leaves it noticeably behind what most standard laptops and monitors are capable of these days. Spend the extra few bucks for an adapter that really does give you higher resolutions.
