"One week with a Palm One LifeDrive and I was back!!!" on by Boyd001

Pros: Landscape mode, WiFi, and just an all around PDA work horse!!!

Cons: 5 way controller a bit small, no Nevo, no e-reader

Summary: I had an Ipaq 2210 for years till I smashed the screen,(I work on construction sites and forgot my case that day) I loved every inch of that thing, except the CF port stopped working 6 months before I killed the screen (my wife uses it as an MP3 player now). for whatever reason I bought a PalmOne LifeDrive thinking I'd Like it...Well I returned it a week later for this hx2410. all I can say is if you are used to a PPc don't wase your time on a palm one. Palms are great if you have grown up on them, they aren't junk. According to the salemen I "down graded to this hx2410"... and I am so much happier... I just wish MS didn't take out a few of there programms.
Oh and I LOVE how easy it is to turn of the WiFi, and Blue Tooth when your not using them
    GREAT JOB HP!!!

"It's worth every penny" on by gadgetboy

Pros: Excellent WiFi, bluetooth & unbeatable battery life. Conveniently supported by HP's exclusive applications.

    Cons: Very expensive

Summary: I just made a big switch from my old palm m515. It's a big jump but now I'm able to play videos and mp3s, wifi and bluetooth for over 2 hours and still have LOTS of battery life to spare. I'm so satisfied that I'm starting to have thoughts of selling my iPod mini. The portrait/landscape views and great HP exclusive applications also complement the usability of this device, especially iTask. Also, nothing beats its ergonomics - the rubbery sides makes me feel comfortable. Although I know you can have similar functions/specs that can be found in other models at a cheaper price, the rubber sides reassures me that it's worth every penny with the grip comfort that it provides and will provide for the next few year/s. Overall, I'll give it a perfect score.

    "PDA Workhorse" on

Pros: Solid construction w/all the bells and whistles. Nice feel in hand and not heavy like some suggest. All wireless features. Protective screen.

Cons: Bit pricey compared to Axim X30 but Quality is superior. For this reason I returned my X30 and am picking up the h2410. Also, you can find better prices if you know where to look on the internet.

"The Black Sync-Hole" on by gstark99

Pros: WiFi worked out of the box

Cons: Still not comparable to the Palm

Summary: I just switched to a pocket PC from a Palm Platform. I was disappointed with the lack of basic functionality that was in the palm platform, therefore, I gave the Pocket PC a less than average rating. I've had parts of the screen lock up, needing to hard reset to access anything on that part of the screen. Occasionally when I try to syncronize, active sync just sits on "Connecting" for several minutes and then says "Not Connected". I have to take the pda out of the cradle, and retry several times to get it to work. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for when it connects successfully. The tasks only allow high, medium and low priorities while the palm allows 5 priority levels. Contacts are missing things the palm has like a picture and a birthday. You can't filter notes on categories. The active sync only allows you to syncronize to the default outlook folder so forget about keeping work and private appointments separate. The filtering on Categories is not useful either, because it actually removes anything from the PDA that is not in a category being syncronized to outlook. I will likely be returning my PDA for a new Palm...

"great machine, better than t5 (if comparing prices)" on by RCubedD

Pros: Screen protector, Built-in WiFi bluetooth. many apps are avail for pocket pc.

Cons: windows os is buggy, crashes ocassionalyt=

Summary: I traded in my Tungsten t5 because it seemed so fragile, Expecially the charger. and now am really satisfied with this, very nice, practical pda. the only down fall is it does freeze and crash occasionally, but that can be resolved by the softreset button.
