Summary: I'm convinced they were built to last for about the life of the waranty then the screen starts freezing. I've been a loyal palm user since m100/m130 which lasted for years....eventually upgrading to the Zire71, I've been thru two Zire71 and my husband been thru one. They all started with the screen freezing. It's unfortunate that palm does not acknowledge that as a defect. I've made up my mind to switch to another brand, just not sure which one to trust. Good luck users, stay away from Zire71.

Pros: Great features
Cons: After paying total $350.00 include extended warrant, I end up with a defective machine, unless I pay an additional $125.00!!
Summary: It would be great if Zire is more dependable.

Summary: I was sold for the camera so I can take pictures of my car to sell it. Problem is that shutter speed is very slow and delays. But the many downloads keep my slow days at work interesting and there's always those under the table skirt shots.

Pros: I have had it for years, even when my son got his hands on it and dropped it, it still stayed excellent. Camera, battery life, media quality, SD slot, and display was excelent.
Cons: No wifi or bluetooth, little app support.
Summary: A very good PDA like no other, at a very low price. If you can live without Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi, this is a very good PDA.

Pros: Plays MP3 and video, reliable, does what I need it to. Battery will last a whole day playing music.
Cons: Only wireless connection is infrared, limited memory, takes a bunch of blurry images, seemingly random crashes.
Summary: I got my Zire 71 from my dad after he stopped using it for about 2 years, and it worked great. I was able to customize it to my liking, and it does everything I need it to. I've dropped it and the screen turned a weird greenish color and it came back from it. I leave it on playing music when I fall asleep and I find it still going when I wake up, which demonstrates its stamina.
